Volunteer Information

Volunteer opportunities at the Twin Falls Animal Shelter and People for Pets-MVHS, Inc. include:

1.) Walking Dogs!!!-Persons fourteen years and older are welcome.  Younger children must have an adult present (If you have obedience training skills we could use help with our dogs that are more difficult to handle or need special attention.

2.) Grooming of dogs.  Includes bathing and brushing.

3.) Sign-up to become a mobile adoption volunteer for the bi-monthly off sire adoptions.

4.) Fund-development projects.  We are always in need for help to keep the animal shelter in exceptional shape and find new ways to keep our animals happy. Includes brainstorming and helping with existing events.

5.) Feline socialization needed with some cats & kittens.  Preferred experienced car admirer's.

6.) Foster litters that are too young to be vaccinated & put up for adoption.

7.) Foster dogs that have waited and extended time to be adopted or are in need of special care such as rehabilitation.

**If you have experience working at an Animal Shelter or have been a volunteer in this capacity for an extended period, help is needed at the front desk during the morning hours.
